Free AI modelling for Australian advice scenarios

Describe a client scenario in plain English. Income tax, superannuation, Age Pension, drawdown and cashflow are calculated from current Australian rules by a calculation engine, with every assumption shown.

Runs in the browser. Australian rules, Australian hosting.

Questions it answers

“Income tax on $280,000 for 2025-26” Marginal rates, Medicare levy and the offsets that apply, itemised.
“Will $800k last from 65 to 90 drawing $60k a year?” Drawdown and longevity, with the return and inflation assumptions listed.
“Monte Carlo: $500k invested for 20 years at 7%” A distribution of outcomes rather than one line, charted.

What it calculates

Tax

Income tax, CGT, Medicare, franking credits and negative gearing.

Age Pension

Assets and income tests, deeming, and aged care fees.

Retirement

Drawdown, longevity and Monte Carlo simulation.

Cashflow and loans

Projections, savings runway and amortisation.

Portfolio and insurance

Allocations, rebalancing and cover needs analysis.

Where the numbers come from

The language model reads your question and picks the calculator. It does not do the arithmetic. The numbers are produced by AdviseWell's calculation engine against current Australian rates and thresholds, cross-checked against ATO and Services Australia guidance, and every result carries the rules basis and the date it was computed.

That split matters. A model asked to compute a tax figure will produce a confident wrong number, and keeping the arithmetic in a deterministic engine removes that failure. The model can still choose the wrong calculator or read an input wrongly, which is why every answer lists the assumptions it used. Check them before the figure goes anywhere near a client.

Read this before you rely on a figure. The output is general information for an adviser to check, not personal advice and not a compliance sign-off. Verify the assumptions and the rules basis on every result. The adviser remains responsible for any number that reaches a client file or a client.

Frequently asked questions

Is the AdviseWell AI modelling tool free?

Yes, it runs in the browser at no cost across the areas listed above. The full 51-calculator suite, and saving a scenario against a client, are part of the paid AdviseWell plans.

Does an AI language model do the maths?

No. The model reads the question and selects the calculator. The arithmetic is done by AdviseWell's calculation engine against current Australian rates and thresholds.

How current are the rates and thresholds?

They are maintained against ATO and Services Australia guidance, and each result shows the rules basis and the date it was computed.

Can I use the modelling output with a client?

Check it first. The output is general information for an adviser to verify, not personal advice. The assumptions are listed on every result.

Does the modelling tool cover Age Pension and aged care?

Yes. Assets and income tests, deeming, and aged care fees are in the calculator set, alongside tax, retirement drawdown, cashflow and insurance.
